Is Lurbuk (the Orc bard in Morthal) really the worst bard in Skyrim? There is a bard in Dawnstar and she has a horrible singing voice. In fact I have never even heard Lurbuk sing, so I cant even compare the two.

The winner of X factor Tamriel is...... Lurbuk.

Lisette (bard in Solitude) makes my ears bleed. Any bard with her voice, really.

I think http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Karita_(bard)might be worse. She's the screeching sound you sometimes hear in Dawnstar's Windpeak Inn.

I find Viarmo pretty crappy. I mean, as the head of the Bards College, you would expect someone very good. He didn't even sing the song you forge for Elisif, he just reads it with no enthusiasm. Yeah, imo Viarmo is the worst bard in Skyrim.

The bard my steward of Windstad hired. OMG do my ears bleed the moment she starts singing. Only song she did beautifully was Tale of the Tongues. Otherwise I wanted to take her outside to the chopping block and take off her head.

I myself actually can't stand the voice of the Sven-style bards (or characters, for that matter).

Maybe it's just me, but I don't get Nords sounding like Wood Elves.

Also, I think it's the Lydia voice that can be pretty bad when singing (pretty sure the Dark Elf bard in Windhelm is an example)

Personally, I feel that the bards in general could have been done better.

I tend to find myself being nothing other than pissed at them for interrupting Jeremy Soule's vastly superior music.

All that being said, my favorite tunes that they play are 'Lute [instrumental]' and 'Drum [instrumental]'.
