Everytime I remove the Novice Hood from the mannequin and replace it with something else, the hood just respawns again..... and again, and again, and again...etc.

I can't showcase any of my headgear on the mannequins, how do I put a stop to this very annoying bug?

Take the armor you want to put on the mannequin, drop it on the floor in front of it, leave the cell, return, put it on the mannequin. Done. Yoy might have to rinse and repeat a few more times but basically thats how its done.

Play on PC with the Unofficial patches?

Seriously, I guess you're about to hear what the other unfortunate Xbox players do about the problem...

any idea why some items duplicate and others don't?

My Ancient Falmer Gauntlets always duplicate, not the armor sadly.

It's caused by putting the armour on the mannequin, but before exiting the menu, taking it off again.

Doesn't matter if you put it back on again or not - if you exit/reenter the cell - it'll duplicate what was originally placed.

That's my experience of it anyway.

NOTE: Any self enchanted gear that you try to duplicate with this will duplicate the UNENCHANTED version.

Pre-enchanted gear duplicates with its original enchantments.
