Ka Po' Tun based more on India or China?

I was just wondering, I know the Akavir nations are based on Asian nations to say in the least.

I find the tiger-dragon folk a rather interessting one, and I was wondering if they have more Chinese or Indian aspects.

Here's what I believe the Ka Po' Tun are vicious, strong and agile warriors.

They would use claw weapons like the Katar(Katara) Which is an Indian weapon.

Tigers are also native to India, but Chinese had more affiliated with dragons.

Now I do believe dragons appear in Indian mythology but I am not sure.

There is also an chance that Ka Po' Tun are based on India and Tang mo on China.

This would make sense becuase the Kumal which would be based on Mongolia keep trying to invade the Tang Mo which then would be china.

But then again Tang Mo do have Indian aspects.

However I think they are very quik, agile, fast and the best in Martial arts of the four Akavir nations.

I think they have the smallest army of the nations however I do think they are the best fighters, which would be the reason they could repel the other nations.

They also have an alliance with Ka Po' Tun.

What do guys think?

(PS : I accidently posted this in series discussion while it should be lore)

Ka'Po Tun is based on Ka'Po Tun, on account of I know of know real-world culture composed of tigers whose king is a dragon god.

Assuming a direct 1:1 correlation between a single real culture and a single fantasy culture, in the case of good fantasy, won't work. I mean, Akavir has a race of literal now demons who freeze to a near-death state in winter then get unleashed on the rest of the continent in summer. What real world culture does that resemble?

THAT SAID There are definitely influences of Asian cultures on the limited amount of architecture and weaponry we've seen, however all of that we've seen is Tsaesci and therefore not indicative of the whole continent. So at this time it'd be easiest to say that there is no primary influence on the other, as-yet-unseen Akaviri cultures.
