I'm currently doing the Mages Guild quest where you travel to the ruins of Mzulft, however, when I try to fast travel there, or go on foot there, or even go near the area, the browser closes-to-desktop. I have no mods, only the 3 DLC's along with all the texture packs that we're released for Skyrim.

How do i fix this?

Have you all the unofficial patches installed also ???

If yes, try to verify the game cache files via steam.
