Im trying to find some permanent and persistent items so I can field a cellar of non-despawning corpses, for necromancy purposes of course.

Problem is, is that UESP is wrong in that the 'Letter from a Friend' is persistent. I've tried it and it doesnt work, the corpse still despawns. (i havent found all the word walls)

Am I doing something wrong?

What item is a common persistant/permanent item I can use?

What does the "letter form a Friend" have to do with corpses? It's just ... a letter to direct you to another word wall.

EDIT : Ahhh... I remember now. I had forgotten about that little trick. I assume it was affected in a recent patch.

the 'letter from a friend' is a persistant item, meaning it will not despawn, according to uesp. placing persistant or permant items on corpses will make then NOT despawn.

i tried it, but it didnt work. the corpse still despawns
