There was an old thread I made where I asked if people would change their views on the rebellion against the Empire if their own favorite race was the one rebelling and not the Nords, and I want to ask that question again to get updated poll numbers.

So, what is your favorite race, and would you support their rebellion against the Empire under as closely resembling circumstances you can get? By similar circumstances, I mean that, for example, Azura worship was banned in the case for the Dunmer instead of Talos, or Y'ffre for the Bosmer. The social situation would also closely resemble that in the Skyrim civil war.

I'm leaving the Nords out of the poll since this is about the other races in regards to a rebellion.

Edit: If your favorite is Imperial, Cyrodiil can not be considered the capital province of the Empire in your question. It'd have to be a province in an Empire, to put it in the roughly the same situation as the Nords are now.

Really? I love Empires. For all it's flaws, the world would be a very different place without the Roman Empire.

And no, I wouldn't support Imperials revolting against the Empire. It wouldn't make much sense I could imagine rebellions against individual Counts, or even the Elder Council, but not trying the separate from the Empire.

Then you'll have to put Cyrodiil as a province of the Empire, not the capital of it. Which is sort of the point of the pool; if your favorite race was in the position the Nords are now, would you support the Empire or the Rebellion?

Race doesn't matter to me in the slightest. What matters is if the action you are doing is truly helpful or not and if the situations are similiar then trying to rebel would probably still be considered a bad idea by me. Which ever race it is can get over their pride and temporarily do what it is they have to do to deal with the Thalmor then make them pay ten-fold later.

Besides if the situations were 'similiar' then that just means it would be another completely unworthy leader again anyways.

My favorite race is not even on the list and is not now and never has been part of the Empire.

Of the races listed, my favorite race happens to be idiots in the way they govern themselves, so the Empire it is.
