BoS Outcasts

Post » Mon Apr 19, 2010 10:18 am

Hi there, just want to know is there a mod that allows you to join to BoS Outcasts? Im sick of doing that lame "favour" for technology for them. A chance to rise through ranks and do proper missions would be epic

Any clues?

You do know part of the reason the Outcasts split from the Brotherhood was because the Brotherhood was recruiting outsiders, right?

I do know that, but I prefer Outcasts to the normal BoS.

FWE allows you to play as Outcast.

The only one I know of is Alternate Start - Roleplayers. If you choose Outcast for your history (when setting up a new character) you'll be added to their faction and be able to come and go at Fort Independence without getting in trouble for trespassing. I'm not sure how it affects that technology quest, though.

It doesn't effect the technology quest. You can still do it normally, and only casual, passing-by dialog will change.

well before you dive into FWE take a look at all its features.. some of them you may not like.
it intergrades alot of other mods. mabey start off light with say BOC Diversification. with this you get
a T51-b power armor decked out in outcast colours w/ their logo and better loot for tech you hand in.
and if you wanna patrol the wastes with an actual outcast, try OutCast Companion. Both are on nexus.

Alternate Start's take on Outcasts is rather primitive. It merely puts you in their armor.
What should be done:
- Tweak Outcast dialogues so they are not rude to you.
- Have Casdin's tech quest completed (but active, of course)
- Have full access to Ft. Independence, including locked doors.
