Hey! I bought my Windhelm house after I became Thane there. I was given the title directly after the Whiterun takeover. I haven't finished the Butcher mission because I can't figure out what to do next. I am not new to Skyrim but am new to Windhelm. Any help? And loading a save way back when I bought it isn't an option, too far back.

How far are you in Blood on the Ice? Do you have the Unofficial Skyrim patches? What does it say when you try to buy decorations?

I am up to the part to where I've investigated the house and spoke with the morgue lady and it's at a standstill. Yes. And there's just no option to buy the décor.

What are your quest objectives right now? Also, have you actually bought the house?

I cant get on the PC right now but yes, I bought the house.

Have you tried talking to Viola and Calixto?
