I know a lot of people think the Enclave should go away, I'm one of them. Just wondering how many of you do/ don't.
I say just let them become aging remnants like in New Vegas and let them just disappear off into the sunset.

Killed off, it makes no sense to see them any longer. If it's in the East Coast then I'll stand to see some Enclave deserters who abandoned the cause after having its two leaders lost and seeing its force destroyed they abandoned in fear and began living among the very people they were once trying to annihilate. Of course they wouldn't actually fight and would at most give away their armor to be rid of the evidence. AT MOST that is all I want to see.
I hope this ends well but the dozens of topics like this before this would disagree.
Remnants at best that's it. Maybe a small group working with another like minded group like say the MWBoS under Barnaky.
You missed an option:
"I wouldn't mind seeing them play some minor role."
Why does it have to be either/or?
The actual question is "Should the Enclave be elmiated as a major faction?" It makes perfect sense for Remnants to be scattered around for a while, doing what they did in New Vegas.
His initial post also mentioned that he thought the Enclave should go away, as in not exist in Fallout games anymore. At least that's the impression I get. There's no reason why they can't play the same sort of role that the Talon Company played in Fallout 3, or even the Outcasts for that matter.
An organized group equal to the Outcast or TC would be far to much. Remnants is all that should be left.
Actually they would be nothing but remnants of remnants, since technically the Enclave in Fallout 3 were just remnants from Navarro.
I voted no because I believe that it's possible that a storyline could be written which includes them, and because I don't believe that they've neccessarily "worn out their welcome".
I wouldn't mind if they died out, but I would like it if their armor continued to show up now and again.
Ithink NV handled them best, I wouldn't mind seeing a few old men and there equipment only in later games, but no more coming back as a full fledged faction with endless armies yet again!
