Do you use the crosshair?

Yep I use it. I have poor eyesight so I need it as a guide to aim properly. Couldn't play without it.

Close your eyes. Use the force.

If you play on PC you can fix that by editing Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Skyrim.ini

[Combat]
fMagnetismStrafeHeadingMult=0.0
fMagnetismLookingMult=0.0
f1PArrowTiltUpAngle=0.7
f3PArrowTiltUpAngle=0.7
f1PBoltTiltUpAngle=0.7
f3PBoltTiltUpAngle=0.7

With my first time play of this game and its particular genre/style, I leave it on for now but it can distract from the immersion. Hopefully, I'll get good enough to turn it off just like I use to in FO: New Vegas. :D

I've never cared enough to turn it off.

I'm not proud. Yes I use the crosshair to aim.
