Hi Bullets,
I'm on 320.49 and will upgrade only to WHQL drivers.
They can beta all they like! But you're basically testing out the drivers for them.
Looks like your testing was not 100% convincing...
Thanks for the info.
Yeah I usually stick to WHQL drivers also but I got Splinter Cell: Blacklist and 326.80 added optimization for Blacklist. The next WHQL driver cannot come fast enough. Hopefully it isn't as problematic as 326.80 for Skyrim.
Yeah AMD gets [censored] on for driver issues (mainly the installation and uninstallation process) but I never had issues like this on my old 7850.
Something like that but I didn't get a good look at it. Either way, 326.80 gave me more random CTDs than 320.49. I wasn't quickloading in short succession though.
No, I used it to scale back my boost clock and set a new fan profile last night and played for 4 hours. Finally CTD while riding a horse.
Zero crashes in Skyrim with 326.80, the only game that is crashing is Chivalry and I think that's probably more due to the developers because they are known to release broken patches much like Bethesda. Uninstall it entirely with https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/550192/geforce-drivers/display-driver-uninstaller-ddu-v5-1-1/ and then make a clean install. Troubleshoot on a fresh game save with no mods or enbs, otherwise it's not accurate to target drivers or the last Skyrim patch as the source of the CTDs.
