So, 122 hours into Skyrim on my Dark Elf Thief-Warrior, i decided to check out Dawnguard once again, after having done so about 6 months ago (new computer, lost saves, no free time - reasons contributing to Skyrim getting taken off my hobbies list).

So, the first quest the dawnguard give me, finding out what the vampires are after, sort of surprised me, cause it turned out i had already cleared out Dimhollow, with the tlc-command. Seems i had floated through the boulder in the way earlier and just kinda killed all the bad guys and made my way to the maze and pressed the button and messed around overall.

Since nothing happened, i took to myself to exit the cavern, whilst looting everything in sight.

So, my problem is, that when i enter the cave/crypt now, the button-pressing doesn't do anything and i'm almost definitely sure i'm gonna have to start a new game to be able to enjoy Dawnguard again, but if there's anyone out there who could provide me with some assistance as to making me a vampire hunter, that would be great.

You can check the quest stages http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Awakening and force the quest on with the console.

Just load a save before you enter the cave for the first time. Never do stuff like that.

So let me get this straight... you used cheats to force yourself into an area you shouldn't have been able to get to, and now you're surprised it's broken?
