But Mannimarco wasn't a big bad in Daggerfall. All he wanted was to become a god in order to eclipse Arkay (plus, no one really likes Arkay in the first place).

I would like to hear rumors that Mannimarco has returned from the grave and later rumors that he is out there somewhere more powerful than before...

I'd like to see him again since Oblivion butchered him nearly as badly as they butchered Cyrodil...but I wouldn't like to see him again in the very next game.

A return in ES VI would be more dramatic and far less irritating. It would help diminish the sense of "Didn't I just kill you?"

And I thought I was the only one disappointed by Mannimarco... but anyway no, I want a big bad necromancer to fight, but not him again that would feel wierd I think

Maybe not run into him , but I want him or it to be alive . Come on at the end of the Mage's Guild quest line was so disappointing. He is the King of Worms my god !

I'd rather not see him again as my Mannimarco Revisited project to change him to a more interesting encounter was a pain to get working properly. And if he'd be this whining Altmer again, I'd be forced to do it all over

I distinctly remember killing him in Oblivion. In the game he was in before Oblivion, he escaped. But I do remember hacking him to death in that cave in Oblivion. Even for a Necromancer of his power, it'd be hard to come back from that...

It be awesome if you could receive a guest or make an offering to God of Worms. If Mannimarco makes appearance it should be in the form of the God. I personally feel Beth needs to address him in some way, they must know us Daggerfall fans were not amused by what happened in OB.

The King of Worms (the lich not the god) can't return in Skyrim, because the events in the Mage Guild quest can not be considered canon. If they were that would mean the CoC was a Mage, and Beth never puts a class, gender, race on the past main characters.

He's right, none of the Guild Questline's are considered canon, only the main quest, because the Guild Questlines can be avoided, botched, turned around, and just completely [censored] with.

So, if Bethesda wanted to bring back Mannimarco, their allowed to do so lore wise.

If I remember the lore correctly, I believe when Mannimarco was first slain before becoming a lich by Galerion, it was at a undisclosed mountain, where 'sheets of fire and ice crashed against each other, and lightning cracked in a dragons sigh' (That's how the book puts it), in my mind, I see this as somewhere in Skyrim, perhaps, IF mannimarco did return, it may have something to do with this.

Maybe, his original phylactery is there, or his blood, or something to that effect.

If they bring him back of course, which I wouldn't mind..

The first black soul gem my first character was able to find and use has his soul. I do agree with the Daggerfell fans about how pathetic the Oblivion version was.

i think they should bring back the feature, that when you steal a certain NPC's soul or named creature that victims name is on the soul gem, like morrowind, that would of been my prized possession to have mannimarcos soul, and like soultrapping vivec, you could use a powerful soul to create a godly ring or armor, what you guys think.

this is totally right...if you exclude the comic style of the conversation Bethesda could really improvise a good plot here and make the original Mannimarco come back in Skyrim...its a good idea
