So I'm planning to go to Silver-Peak Mine to get the enclave armor helmet and I'm taking ED-E and Raul with me. Raul can defend himself pretty good, he has t45 bos armor and a ranger sequoia combined with the old vaquero perk, so he's good. My only concern is ED-E. Since I'm playing on hard, with hardcoe mode enabled, he can die for good. So I want to do his upgrade before we go in there. I'm thinking I should get him the better shell/armor upgrade from the bos, but then again maybe more damage could also save him in the big fight against all those cazadores down there. That's why I want you guys' opinion on this!

I'd go for the armor. Give Raul hollow points since the Cazadors don't have any DT.
