Not counting Deadric Arrows, nor artefacts obtained in Quests, how long (roughly) do you think it was before you got your first Deadric Weapon or piece of apparel?

I never seemed to find anything, and with my first two characters I never got to the point of forging my own Deadric stuff either...the characters both ended up specialising in Light Armour, so there didn't seem any point. 300 hours on my first character, 100 hours on my second. Found nothing.

My third character I decided would work his way up the Heavy Armour tree and finally forge himself some Deadric kit. About 100 hours in, Level 88 Smithing, some Daedra Hearts and Ebony Ingots squirrelled away in a cupboard in Breezehome, he was out on a Quest and what did he find in an End Table in a dungeon? A Daedric Helmet.

Now he's forged himself the rest of the Armour Set, I'm not sure that I actually like it much!

Got it in Jan 2012. Back when I thought having Daedric meant you were you cool.

It is no longer the case. Since then, I have never made Daedric Weapons and Armor.

Loved daedric armor in oblivion hate it now. But I got it as random loot at level 18 one time ill never forget it. I dropped down some hole in some ruin when I hit the ground I was looking at an end table. I keep my Xbox brightness setting real low and all I saw a green glimmer and slowly crouched over and was ecstatic to see daedric boots of sneaking. I actually wore them for awhile too. I found a Daedric dagger in the Skooma den outside Riften quite early on in the games life, probably about a month or two after the game came out (which i bought upon release). The character, a Wood Elf thief/archer if i recall, was quite low level as well, late teens, so it surprised me to find it. Iv'e had dozens of characters up to level 30 & the highest was in the 50's & iv'e not had a piece of Daedric weaponry or armor since.

One of my secondary characters, an Orc Sellsword, is 8 points away in smithing from Daedric. So that's probably the only way i'm going to see any it seems.

About 100 hours in. After a certain quest involving museums from which I got 4 Daedra hearts, I used a costless recipe mod to powerlevel Smithing and make Daedric gear.

Not too long in when the game first released. Was a pretty low level I think. But I just can't remember what it was. It was either Spellbreaker or Volendrung.

The first Daedrc item i got was a sword form General Tullius. I never liked the crumby look those item have so i never bothered with it until then
