Dark Elf or Nord?

Post » Sun Sep 01, 2013 10:43 pm

I will be doing a let's play on PC, once I get my laptop at the beginning of October or September 30th. I've had 3 Nords,(Warrior, Mage, Assassin), 3 Dark Elves,(Fighter, Magical Thief, Hunter). The Nord Warrior ended up being my main on my PS3.

I can't decide which race to choose.

Don't do a lets play. There's thousands of 'em.

But if you insist, flip a coin. They're both awesome, but people may watch your lets play more if its a dunmer. More unique since so many like myself play Nords mainly.

So Dunmer it is. Anybody feel like helping me find a mod that makes Dunmer taller than humans?

Yeah, so many lets play's out there, it's likely to be lost in the sea of them. Maybe some videos showing the more talked about quests & discussing the alternate ways to complete them might be more interesting. But it's upto you.

I'd probably go with the Dark Elf, or anything other than Nord, as they have been done to death.

You could try "Height Adjusted Races with True Giants". If you know how to use TES5Edit, then you can just manually change the height values in the mod so that elves are taller than humans

I have modded in 2007, but things have changed, I was 7 and it was easier for me to understand, simpler, now to install it manually, it's pretty much the same, but some mods require others... It's a PAIN. So NMM and no SKSE mods for me.

Get the creation kit, open, File > Data, select Skyrim.esm and Update.esm, OK, wait for it to load, in the Object window on the left, Character > Race, find Dark Elf, double-click, under Body Data adjust height.
