I recently started using the RH_Ironsights mod and found it to be quite entertaining to use. I've been working on some new real-world weapon models and found the default pistol animations to hold the new weapons about an inch too low to use the sights. I've had problems trying to import them into 3ds max so that I could modify them to work with custom models. I don't really have a need for them to function with the default weapons as I eventually plan on removing them completely after all my own are added, if its possible to do so.
Are there any tutorials out there that would be able to help me in this? I've been adding custom weapons to fallout for almost a year, but I haven't had much experience with modifying animations.
I'd be very interested in learning how to do this also
RH_Ironsights makes a huge boost to immersion and I cant play without it, but does limit you to the stock guns.
Changing to better textures can make this tolerable but I would love to have a greater choice of guns
