[RELz] Golden Saint Feminine Walk

This assigns the Golden Saint the feminine walk and idle animations instead of the default male animations.

Requires Morrowind.

Installation: Just extract the files into the Data Files/Meshes/r directory. No plug-in required.

Removal: Just delete the included files.

Permissions: none needed as this is purely vanilla content.

As this assigns the female animations, this will overwrite golden saint replacers due to the use of X.nif and X.kf files. In theory, this is compatible with these kinds of replacers -- the caveat is that the user will need to make a copy of the golden saint's .nif file and rename it to X.nif file to apply the feminine animations to the replacer.

The same applies for creatures based on the golden saint mesh -- however the X.kf file will need to be renamed to the creature's .nif and X.nif files too.

As released, no.

As detailed later in my original post, it can be jury-rigged to work with any replacer, provided the replacer doesn't have any custom animations (easiest way to tell is if there's no corresponding X.nif and X.kf files). However that'll be up to the end user.

Sure, no permissions needed. It's a resource for the masses.

Funny enough, if you want dremora and skeletons to walk like a lady, just rename the X.kf file accordingly. :D

I think it should work actualy, creatures work like this

creature.nif <--all in one file, MW is not using this in game, only for loading
xcreature.nif <--contains proper creature mesh with skeleton
xcreature.kf <-- contains animation data

xcreature.nif is replacable, but the skeleton data must agree or im betting for a good ol CTD



And skeletons, they all use same skeleton structure

actually i don't think i ever noticed their walk. they are always either charging at me or standing still.

Sure! Utilize as needed.

Yep, golden saints utilize npc animations, so as long as the replacers do the same, there should be no problems.

It's much more noticable to summoners. :D

Agreed! Mr. Fishystick has outdone himself on this one! Hopefully, I can get this to work with Psymoniser's Golden Saint! As per the info in this thread, I should be able to do so. Alas, I know little of animation, and the last animation programme/mod that I tried to master was LizTail's Animation Kit, and that did some very strange things to creatures animation sets (they didn't move from the pelvis down and couldn't walk....yes, there is joke in there somewhere. *giggle*)

Sheogorath *does* have an...odd...sense of humour, considering he/it sired Golden Saints in general, and Staada in particular. So they *are* "by Sheogorath" indeed! Boy, *that* would be a weird date, right that!

For some reason, the original Golden Saints *do* remind me of, "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert," for some odd reason...*giggle* Or was it, "To Wong Foo?" Or maybe, "Red Sonja," Dunno....

i didn't even think about summons, ha. don't think i ever used golden saints as summons.

oblivion gives a look at golden saint society. it would not surprise me one bit if the reproductive organs of female and male golden saints were switched, much to the chagrin of the community for golden saint romance stories. har!

It shouldn't be difficult, just 'copypasta' the original nif and renaming it to the Xnif.

Though, it'd probably be easier if someone updated or released those mods integrating this.
