Smithing Training

Post » Wed Sep 04, 2013 1:52 pm

I need some training levels in smithing, but the dialogue option isn't there.

I have

Spoiler
brought Balimund his fire salts, Brought Gorza(Spelling) her book, and joind the companions (Eorlund),
but the option to train doesn't show up.

They should still train you, w/o doing favor. Doing so, should just result in getting a free lesson.

Or just go to Markarth and see the female orc smith. She also has a quest for an extra point if you want (actually two points since you get a point from the quest item)

You might need to level up before you can train again.

Yes, add that smithing training is pretty wasted, cheaper to buy raw materials from the smith, make some stuff to level up and then sell them back.

At high level you want to improve stuff, with some smithing enchants you can even sell them back with profit :)

She is one who will not give the dialogue option.

I have not trained at any of them, option missing.

maybe mod conflict if the option is missing? try to raise by yourself, smithing is one of the skills that it isn′t worth wasting money since you can put it in 100 in one day just crafting armor from raw materials

I haven't noticed that but have you asked about what's wrong with her assistant? That's what triggers the quest. I've always started with that so maybe that's the difference.
