We are rolling out two new patches over the next few days, Patch 1.1 and Data Patch B.

Patch 1.1 will be a physical update requiring you to download it when prompted from XBL and contains numerous bug fixes and updates:

Fix for users getting stuck in the Pinger
Fix for Flashbang/Smoke grenade reactions not displaying in Kill Cam
Fix for crosshair becoming invisible after certain actions
Fixes for squads joining and disconnecting from servers
Fix for players being unable to fire or reload occasionally
Fix for users occasionally being able to hear VTOL damage siren constantly
Weapons retrieved from the ground now have the correct attachments
Fix for players getting stuck if ripping HMG off VTOL during destruction
Fix for being unable to detonate C4 after host migration on consoles
Fix for game not ending correctly if last opponent triggers a host migration
Fix for issue where sometimes rip and throw weapons would not deal damage in smoke grenades
Fix for relay in CTR becoming stuck if picking up relay during shotgun reload
Fix for icons disappearing occasionally in CTR
Last Man Standing no longer displayed in Hunter for players that have just died
Fixed issue with teams during host migration in Hunter/Assault

Data Patch B is a behind the scenes update and is automatically downloaded when entering Multiplayer. Patch B contains the following tweaks:

Melee whilst sliding damage reduced to match patch A's melee damage
Typhoon mid range damage reduction

Bow sensitivity reduced to match Assault Scope values on X360 as they have similar zoom values.

SCAR+Laser long distance effectiveness reduced.

Threat Awareness module levelling targets reduced to 3/10 enemy C4's destroyed

Potential fix for "Incoming!" Skill Assessment not levelling up correctly

Fix for Social Challenge skill assessments not being tracked correctly

If you see something like this at the bottom left of your main multiplayer screen, then you have the patch.

If you can not see it and this post says the patch is live, chances are your copy of the game didn't manage to download and verify it in time. Simply return to the Single Player menu and click back into Multi Player or restart the game, entering MP will usually resolve the issue as it will have been downloaded already but not verified.

The main change is to the region search parameters, basically the game starts searching in just the local region then if it fails to find games it will expand the search out, we've changed the timing to make the local search last longer which should help keep players matching within their own region. There was also a small bug fix in the rule selection algorithm that previously caused issues if a player fails to connect to a game (generally due to NAT issues).

It's worth noting that some players will want to play with friends in other regions using the squad or game invite systems so we can never guarantee that all players in a game are from a single region, all we can do is help push it in that direction!

Small bug in the title update

We have identified an issue in Patch 1.1 where the Dog Tags screen in Player Profile will show you having less dog tags than before the patch, this will affect all platforms when the patch goes live. We have identified the issue and have a fix in place but there will be a period of time before this can be rolled out. This only affects the dogtags in the 5th and 6th categories in the Dog Tags screen.

It is important to note that this is a UI issue rather than you actually losing your dogtags, the game still knows what you have/haven't unlocked but is not correctly displaying them.

Pending issues and investigation

Cry-Johnc

Hi all,

We are aware of and investigating the following issues, with an aim to include fixes for them in any future patches:

Missing dog tags and skill assessments after Patch 1.1
Crashes during the final boss fight in SP
Issues with being unable to unlock everything for 100% completion in SP
Ability to specify ADS sensitivity compared to hipfire sensitivity (PC Only)
Laser + Extended Magazine not working for all weapons
Cloak visibility differences between levels
General weapon and module balancing
Further Anti Cheat improvements
Host Migration and Matchmaking improvements
Jackal + Laser sight causing an animation glitch when firing whilst moving
Disc image on X360 is incorrect on X360 dashboard
Further CVARS available to Dedicated Servers to allow ranked matches with higher timelimits and score limits
AMD specific driver issue fixes
Crashing when transitioning from SP -> MP when in an X360 LIVE party and someone is using voice comms.

Due to nature of development, fixes for these issues cannot be guaranteed

This is not an exhaustive list or the final list, more will be added as I receive confirmation from other members of the development team that they are investigating specific issues.

Data Patch C
is a behind the scenes update and is automatically downloaded when entering Multiplayer. Patch C contains the following tweaks:

Developers Choice playlist updated to new game mode variation
Jackal fire rate decreased slightly
Jackal per pellet damage fall off increased
Fixed an issue where the Takedowns spread escalated too quickly in certain zoom modes
Grendel fall damage fall off reduced for better long range impact
FY71/SCAR damage fall off increased to reduce their effective range
Further matchmaking tweaks for X360 and PS3 to increase chance of local sessions being found
Foregrip and Muzzle Brake effectiveness reduced slightly
Laser sight effectiveness reduced slightly

Like and bump this post to let people know that this game has some form of support.

Thanks for reading I'll see you guys in matchmaking

Someone needs to do something about people running around firing a shotgun while sprinting but their gun never actually aims at you but just stays in the running animation. Dumbasses will exploit anything in this day & age.

never had any of these issues mentioned in the patches. what needs to be fixed is:

-disconnections
-host migration
-net code
-gun balance
-remove cloak all together. In crysis 2 it kept players moving and avoided camping. In crysis 3 its used to croutch still and camp.
-hit detection
-reduce aim assist on bow
-deflection is 10x better than max nanosuit.

Half of those issues you list would be fixed if match making actually picked a good host.

Remove cloak?! Are you serious?

yep, if you move in cloak than you are easier to see. Thus enter the croutched non moving cloak campers who wait around every corner for you. No skill bro!!

Gun balance? Can you be more specific there are a lot of guns in this game and as far as I can see the recent patch has fixed most of the problems that people were experiencing with guns in the game.

Remove Cloak all together. Why? It serves more of a purpose then just the ability to stay cloaked and camp. It can be used as a way to circumvent enemies to flank them as well as avoid being sniped when moving through open areas. If you have a problem with campers you need to realize that this is a FPS and that different individuals will have different play styles. Some people like a fast past shoot and run and other likes a slow paced camp and pray. Both people played 60 dollars for this game and deserve to be able to play their respective play styles. If you don't like this, then deal with it or kindly return your game and stop complaining on these forums.

Hit detection. Can you be more specific? What is the problem with hit detection are you experiencing is it to accurate? perhaps it isn't registering correctly? I will assume you're speaking about a problem some players have been experiencing where damage isn't registering correctly.

Reduce aim assit on the bow. I am not sure if you ever used the bow but aim assist only does so much and at long distances aim assist is nearly useless considering you have to lead the shot which is one projectile traveling across a map.

Get rid of cloak? Lets just get rid of jump and armor too. Cloak is part of the games identity, you can't just get rid of it. Use it yourself more often. I'm allways in cloak or armor. When cloak runs out I switch to armor. When it's recharged I switch back. And I stay sprinting, moving targets are harder to hit. I don't mind campers, they usually stay in the same spot so they make easy revenge. The game would get too boring if everyone played the same.
