Which Lighting mods to combine?

Post » Mon Sep 09, 2013 7:18 pm

Hi, does anyone have a suggestion for me? I'm looking for a lighting solution that will give me the outside daylight colors of Climates of Tamriel, but dark nights as in Darker Nights by Mike Fox (or something close). I really don't like the light source dimming (fires and lanterns) that is in CoT. I'm already using Enhanced Lights and FX for interiors and dungeons.

The problem for me with Mike's mod is that water splashes and particles are really really bright during nights (using WATER and Skyfalls). Is there a fix for that?

For daylight outside I'm considering using Ultra Realistic World Lighting, which should give dark nights (hopefully without bright water) and no light source dimming.

But URWL's colors are warm, and I would really like the daylight colors to be like CoT, which seems colder. So should I try URWL in combination with Imaginator maybe, so that I can just adjust the daylight colors?

Suggestions are welcome

If you're using ENB, you should use http://enbseries.enbdev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1499 and the WATER compatibility patch.

Sorry, I should have said I'm not using ENB, but thanks for the tip. I'm planning to test ENB sometime so that will come in handy.
