Can anyone confirm whether the engine has an issue (a good example of what I mean is like in Morrowind) where "/" forward & "\" backslashes are somehow "flag" sensitive when they are in archives.
ie.
Nifs can either have "\" or "/" with their pathing for their texture assets in loose files
but when in beth archives iirc only the forward slashes are valid. (not sure though, and this was only an issue for Morrowind)
in Skyrim i think both are valid whether in archives or loose files.
The reason I'm asking is because I've packed assets into .bsas and loaded them via oblivion.ini

and also on other objects, but they don't have the standard "" marker sign, i think they're just "voided" out or invisible.
