cant help it till now i have finished the dawnguard questline 4 times and now its the 5th and i am still quite excited

Hurray, I haven't played through DG yet (just started playing Skyrim 3 weeks ago), now I'm looking forward to it The Whiterun guards certainly think they should join...

^^Exactly. I feel the same way. I always embrace the Volkihar, so needless to say thats my favorite questline. I'm not the type to complain that this could've been better or whatever, I enjoy what I have in front of me.

Yay! Nice to hear. I've had DG since day one Xbox and STILL haven't gotten to it. I have two characters on the cusp, each bound for the opposing side. But it's important for me to have my current character finish the MQ and a few side quests (rebuilding the Blades and fighting for the Stormcloaks). Then he'll be ready. I'll flip back and forth between him (Dragonborn Paladin Nord) and my evil, cannibalistic mage who longs to taste vampirism.

How can you continually stomach Serana and the Soul Cairn? Those 2 things make it very hard for me to repeat the DG quests.

Serena is Awesome, and the Soul cairn, while somewhat out of place in elder scrolls, still looks and feels great.

She's grinding Conjuration so she can get the permanent thrall spells!

She never bothered me. Actually quite the companion. The SC is a bit weird at first but there's some really cool things to obtain, if you're playing as a Mage.

I really love the Soul Cairn for the saint there.
