I am looking for a challenge and at the same time keeping the game "realistic". This is vanilla with only DLC as Dead Money, so keep that in mind for me please.
When I say realistic, I mean I die to enemies quickly, and they die to me quickly as well. Because of this, I will be playing on hardcoe and normal difficulty so the enemies don't turn into unrealistic damage sponges (looking at you, veryhard). This is where the 1 Endurance comes into play, I don't want to have a large health pool and I want to have a more average character, hence only one implant available.
My planned SPECIAL is as follows:
Str: 7
Per: 6
End: 1
Cha: 1
Int: 6
Agi: 10
Luc: 9
Planning to take the Monocyte Breeder (regeneration) implant, and Good Natured as my only trait. I don't want Small Frame on hardcoe, though it may be more realistic to take it?
I do NOT want to do a sneaky sniper as it makes the game laughably easy. I want to use pistols and shotguns as sole source of combat damage. Furthermore, I want to impose a carrying weight restriction and a repair restriction.
At any given time, I can carry 2 (two) shotguns and 3 (three) pistols and no more. If I find a weapon of the same type I'm using, I am allowed to repair it as soon as I pick it up, but I cannot pick it up and hold onto it until my weapon needs repairs. For this reason, it will be more beneficial for me to use more common weapons so repairs are easier. I cannot carry any supplies needed to craft doctor's bags or weapon repair kits, or the bags or kits themselves. If I am around a crafting bench, I can carry the ingredients needed if they are all in the area to create and immediately use the doctor's bag and/or weapon repair kit.
I plan to use the Single Shotgun for the early game, Lever Action for mid game, Hunting Shotgun for end game, and probably carry a backup Sawed-Off. I think Riot Shotgun is too easy, especially if I end up taking perk And Stay Back.
For pistols, I will use 9mm/silenced.22/.357 in early game, 10mm/.44/12.7mm/maria in mid/late game.
Perks I will probably take or will choose from are:
Light Touch, Rapid Reload, Educated, Shotgun Surgeon, And Stay Back, Hand Loader, Finesse, Center of Mass, Better Criticals.
I will focus skills in Guns (100), Lockpick (75), Speech (85), Repair (70), Survival (50), Sneak (50), Science (50), and then more as I level up further.
So what do you guys think!? Any advice for me? Any suggestions on challenges to add or restrictions to set?
