Looking to marry a dark elf. Athis is my best prospect. He's part of the Companions. I'm doing the quest chains to become a furry and marry him. But is he a wolf? Also, what is the worse part of being a lycanthrope? I'm not getting what is so bad about it that everyone wants to cut a witch's head off and turn back to mortal. Except for religious reasons no one in the Companions has given me a good reason why NOT to be furry.

So is Athis a furry and will he do anything odd after marriage?

No. He's not a part of The Circle, only the Circle has Lycanthropy.

Seems insane that I have to become a werewolf if I want to marry him / get him for follower then. Thx for quick reply.
