I've got a Refguard with an Alik'r Hood, Hammerfell Garb, and Redguard Boots from Solitude; got a Scimitar from the Dainty Sload. Unsure if I want to take advantage of natural Block skill for Redguards with a shield.
Hide, maybe steel
personally I would go with a light shield though, anything other then Elven
Pretty much.
I don't even know what an Alik'r shield even looks like
**goes to do a google search.....**
All I seem to be able to find is a mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/7692/? The shield is round and very decorated, so basing my opinion from that I change my answer to the DG shield
Perhaps a Blades shield then? I am on Xbox 360.
Considering they utilize speed and stamina in combat, something very light like a reed weave. In Skyrim, you probably go with Hide, Fur, or Leather.
Hide or No-Shield seems best option to me I guess.
Targe of the Blooded would not fit imo.
Hide maybe the best in this case. I'm assuming that you are a fellow console player, if so IMO the Hide shield or the DG shield ( even though it's a heavy shield ) may suit a Redguard build better out of the vanilla game shields ( non modded Skyrim ). You can go the no shield route as well, I never see any Redguard in-game carrying a shield. I would still Lv. and perk the block skill though for better blocking anyway
