Need advice on getting computer

Post » Sun Sep 15, 2013 4:21 am

I've already tried the sticky "will this run it" thread but didn't get much response, so I'm making my own. I have 3 computers in mind to buy.

Here's the cheapest:

Win 7 64bit / DDR3 8GB 1333GHz / Intel Quad Core i5-3550 3.3GHz (3rd Gen.) / 2TB SATAII HDD 7200RPM / Realtek ALC662 Soundcard / AMD Radeon HD 6450 1GB(I know it's low-end, want to buy higher end to switch out) / 600w PSU

Here's the mid-priced:

Win7 64bit / Same memory as above / Intel Quad Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz (3rd Gen.) / Same HDD as above / Same soundcard as above / AMD Radeon HD 7750 1GB / 600w PSU

And finally the higher priced (maxed out budget):

Win 7 64bit / Same memory as other 2 except lists speed PC3 10600? / Same processor as mid-priced / Same HDD as other two / Same soundcard / AMD HD 7770 1GB / 700w PSU

Sorry if this is a lot but I'm not as computer savvy as you fine gentlemen and really don't want to spend my money on crap. These are pre-builds but I'm fairly sure if one or two components are low-end/cheap I can replace (like the graphics card on the first one). Also I priced all the parts separately b/c I was going to try to build my own but it came out to be way more expensive than these above 3. So I need to know if all the specs are good or bad so I can make a good decision. Thanks in advance!
