» Sun Sep 15, 2013 4:21 am So apologies for bringing this glitch up again, since I know it's been well-discussed, but I just can't seem to find the cause of my problems with getting the plots of land from Dawnstar and Falkreath.
I have talked to and re-talked to everyone in both towns, and have done all the radiant quests I could find.
I have not killed Helvard for the Dark Brotherhood.
I did complete the Falkreath "Kill the Bandits" quest, but it was given by the Imperial's steward, and when I completed it, the Stormcloaks had taken over. However, I was able to turn the quest in to him at the Blue Palace and he gave me the dialog about becoming Thane - but no weapon, and no land option.
My "assist the people of the pale" quest seems to be stuck at 2/3 with no new quest options in Dawnstar.
Any suggestions on what I could do to try to fix this?
My quest log is almost empty. I've cleared every "could break this" quest I could find, and this is all that's left in my list:
Main Quests
> No Stone Unturned
> Contract: Kill Helvard
> Contract: Kill Maluril
> Assist the people of the Pale (2/3)
> Bloodline
Miscellaneous Quests (Only 6 left, all of which I can't get out of my quest log)
> Talk to the Companions leaders for work (Endless/Permanent)
> Locate the East Empire Pendants for Fethis Alor in Raven Rock (Endless/Permanent)
> Ask Esbern about dragon lairs (Permanent as I didn't kill Paarthanax)
> Speak to Greta about going to the Temple of Divines. (Finished but glitched, no dialog options left)
> Find 5 Ice Wraith Teeth for Marise (Finished but glitched for me)
> Find the Word of Power in Arcwind Point (Finished by glitched for me)
