Post » Tue Sep 17, 2013 6:35 am

Me too sadly

I have http://mw.modhistory.com/download--6088as an additional file as there doesn't appear to be any option to update mods , be sure to click on the 1.2 link not the 1.1

Ya, MMH doesn't have the update feature just yet....TBH when it was built updating mods didn't seem necessary as it was mainly going to be an archiving site. Adding it is definitely on my priority list, and will be done as soon as possible.

But you have the updating feature available on http://download.fliggerty.com/ though, so why not upload it there for the time being and the update feature there is easy to use. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Was http://dl.dropbox.com/u/28753474/Furn_cushion_square_03.jpg intended for Furn_cushion_square_03.nif?

Check the readme and pictures. I'm pretty sure it is. A lot of the items have UV mapping changes for the textures. Actually, a lot of the items changed look different now. The screenshot section will show a lot of them.

Possibly, doesn't the mesh fix reduce the tiling on all of the cushions? Might have been a mistake for square cushion three, given that it depends on a smaller texture than most of the rest of the cushions (Tx_rug_03_border).

It is supposed to reduce tiling, yes. I like it better this way. I don't know about you, but I think it looks better.

If you wish I can upload it on GHF Download, so that anyone can grab it without being logged in on Nexus.

I agree for most of the cushions, but given that (in vanilla) the texture for 03 is 128x32, while the texture for 02 is 256x512, I think that a little tiling is in order. Plus, the degree to which that texture is stretched to fit the top and bottom doesn't match the sides (the sides use the same texture, unlike most of the other square cushions. And after all, pattern repetition is a common feature of fabrics.

Try http://dl.dropbox.com/u/59330294/furn_cushion_square_03.nif.

Well, yes, it is common but The degree to which it tiles in Morrowind is a bit much for me. I'll try out your version real quick, though. Can't judge it without seeing it. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Well, one person's "fix" is not necessarily another's - Slarti is doing some additional fixing of stretching and tiling, see http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i109/Slartibartfast_2006/?action=view¤t=Clipboard-3.jpg.

Just remember that any fixes can be undone by either deleting the mesh or replacing it with another one.

Thanks for reporting this i will be reviewing the cushions for the next update which is currently in the pipeline. The cushions currently use a mixed bag of fabric textures which vary in quality , resolution and size so i will be attempting to rectify various inconsistencies so none look out of place. The cushions mostly use Dunmer tapestry textures plus a few Ashlander banner and a couple of random fabric textures ie canvas/sackcloth.

I am planning on changing a few of the textures so that all the cushions use Dunmer tapestry textures because Ashlander banners tend to be weathered coarse and threadbare and may look okay blowing about in the wind but not so good on a cushion inside a wealthy residence as is the case with the sacking and canvas textures, whilst tapestry textures should look presentable wherever they are.

The UV maps on the square cushions use the the full texture as this gives the best appearance and also handy for modders because what you see is what you get when making replacement textures for the cushions whereas the vanilla meshes only show random portions. None of the UV maps on the cushions require textures to tile on account that tapestry / banner textures are rarely seamless and would look bad if they did tile.

It is on 3 sites already including MMH , but transferring from MMH to GHF would be good for updating. I don't hold much hope for the PES link , I have submitted 3 problem reports so far with no response , Nor is it possible for me to update the file but i guess we knew this sort of thing was bound to happen at some point.

Unfortunately most needed more work , i found it just as fast to work with the vanilla models so i could document the changes as i went along which was a little less tedious than reverse engineering and documenting somebody elses work.

I guess that you can rule out PES, because you still get the 404 page error. /brokencomputer.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':brokencomputer:' />

Done. http://download.fliggerty.com/download-56-654 is now available on http://download.fliggerty.com/. Enjoy! /banana.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> /banana.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> /banana.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
