So.......Jyggalag?

Post » Fri Sep 20, 2013 7:36 am

After Oblivion was officially done (All DLC published, et cetera) I was wondering how Jyggalag would fit into the picture, but come Skyrim, we here literally no mention of Jyggalag even though The Shivering Islands DLC makes the point that Jyggalag is no longer cursed. So why did they just leave him/her/it out? I think Jyggalag would be a very cool/interesting Daedric Prince to be doing quests for and seeing what their artifact would be.

Has anyone else wondered about the absence of Jyggalag?

I belivie Jyggalag is busy trying to build a perfect realm of Order instead of trying to get champions. So maybe TES 6 we'll see him. :)

Probably because 200 years isn't enough time to build up significant influence. Jyggalag only came back once at the end of every era, which stands to reason that many may have forgotten about him.

Jyggalag is licking his wounds in some quiet corner of Oblivion, keeping away from everyone so that the other princes don't curse him again.

Banished to the Waters of Oblivion. In a sense, he doesn't "exist" (until he does.)

He doesn't have a realm to call his own is essentially what being part of the Waters of Obilivion mean. He can create one from it, which we can assume that it what he is doing. What that realm is or what it is called, nobody knows until it is revealed by himself or another Prince. For all we know, the other Princes who originally cursed him might be constantly "fighting" him from building a realm, because they know once his realm is built and he gains power, he'll be more powerful than all of them.
