My [watch your mouth, young man] hearthfire family

Post » Fri Sep 20, 2013 11:44 am

So I've never really dabbled too much with Hearthfire. Additionally, with all the bugs and work involved, it just became frustrating in most cases. On one of my more recent characters (Altmer Alchemist Mage), I've just kept the wife (Sylgja) and kids (Runa and Lucia) in Proudspire Manor for the sake of simplicity...

And then the feces proceeded to hit the turbine.

Some things that have happened on recent visits:

- Runa killed the pet dog and stared blankly at me after she did it.

- Lucia actually hurt me when I approached her while she was practicing with an elven dagger.

- The two brats were having a vicious insult-off right in front of me.

Has this happened to anyone else with regards to adoption?

I've never seen them kill the family pet - is someone secretly a member of the DB?

However, I've walked in on heated exchanges between the kids from time to time.

May I suggest a wooden sword, next time?

Well, to be fair, Runa is the one who says "Kill one person, and you can solve so many problems. I wonder at the possibilities!" after you kill Grelod the Kind.

As for the wooden sword, I was RP'ing the Altmer. "Only the finest Elven craftsmanship for my adopted daughters who I shall mold into acceptable and cultured humans in the eyes of my fellow Altmer."

Lol, I remember being very angry when Blaise, who was adopted by my Altmer character in game, called Lucia "elf ears" as an insult. Told him to do chores for about 10 times until I started treating him nicely again.
