So heres the deal... i have the the game, no add ons, and i'm waiting for the ultimate edition in the mail. My question is: Can i load my current game on the ultimate edition, or would i have to start a new game?

i have all the special weapons, it'd be a shame to restart.

Everything should work fine with your current save file. The DLC quest messages will pop up in-game once you've installed them and you'll be able to level up more.
