Story manager and mods ?

Post » Tue Sep 24, 2013 12:07 pm

Hello,

I tried (still am) to search, no information as to compatibility (else than some mods stating of worry with the story manager (was one who triggered this questioning) when using more than one mod adding content to the story manager ?

I guess that out of a tool who merge the different adds from mods (is there one as to now ?) the first mod it the load order adding content there have it and the others are non usable.

That said, they are numerous mods using the story manager, so if I am right that is one issue quite common and who could explain quite some worry as to mods non "starting" ?

So, if anyone as information as to that "story manager" ?

Thans in advance.

Story manager doesn't conflict as such, but two mods editing the same branch/quest node could conflict. I myself use story manager a lot but use my own branch nodes.

Hm, alright, so if two mods add content to it, it is like dialogue, it does not overwrite each other ?

(Provided they do not try to change a common existing entry, which is a mandatory worry at last as to "base modding" (who can be managed as to most of the cases (items, NPCs etc > TES5Edit).

Thanks for the response B1gBadDaddy.
