I was mistaken I thought that you had the option of going with Mjoll the lioness and doing this.

My first character doesn't join the Thieves Guild nor the Dark Brotherhood. I feel a bit odd being the hero but then living a double life.

Definitely a missing quest, there. Would be all over that.

That Mjoll thing is a mod. It has no dialogue, saw it on MMOXReview.

Anyways, since I can't kill them, I usually leave them be. Poor Brynjolf is still waiting.

Mjoll and her oddball shadow are far more annoying than anybody in the Theives Guild

If only Skyrim had such options. The option that anything you do in the game could actually matter. But no.

Honestly I think Skyrim doesn't even know I'm playing it ... (ought to make this my sig...)

I don't understand why it isn't possible to destroy the Thieves Guild.

With the Dark Brotherhood it's either Yes or No when Astrid makes her offer and the same should've been done with Brynjolf.

I still find it odd that people feel the need to have a red carpet dropped wherever they walk in TES games.

Don't need the red carpet dropped, I'd like the sand castle to fall when I kick it.

You know what's really odd, I've been playing an MMO for the last two weeks. You know how in an MMO that nothing changes? You can do all these quests, clear out this, do that, and nothing changes because all those things have to remain because there are other players in the same world needing to do the same quests. The world just never changes ... kind of like Skyrim. Only in Skyrim I don't have to wait on someone else sitting on some spot farming Dragon spawns. But other than that it's basically the same.

There's someone who needs taking care of; disliked him from the first time I met him.

@OP,

Don't feel bad, a guy at my office thought you could destroy the Thieves guild as well.. and hes been playin since launch haha

not true at all...

both Guild Wars 2 and The Old Republic have zones that drastically change based on decisions through various questlines..
and WoW has entire zones that change depending on how far you are into its Questline (to where even Cities get sacked, and if someone in your group hadn't made it that far into the questline it will load you both into separate zones, each being in the zone that is how that part of the world is during the part of the questline they are in, and the other must catch uip to your point in the Questline before you cann see each other in that zone), Sentinel Hill and the majority of Southern Barrens for example..
