I have taken my time to get the main quest finished. I did it today for the first time.

Except when I am transported back to the throat of the world, Paarthurnax says nothing about it. There is only Odahviing with him (and I can not speak to him)

Also when I speak to Arngeir he does not mention anything about me killing Alduin being killed.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Because no one notices.

Literally, no one notices.

When I checked online though, there should have been dragons to meet me after I got back from Sovngarde, but there was not. Paarthurnax should have spoke to me about it as well, but he didn't.

It is strange.

Indeed, there should have been several other dragons each of which will say a few words, take off and fly around. After that Paarthurnax would speak with yyou and finally Odahviing.

Seems like a quest script has bugged and thus caused nothing to happen.

Darn it, I wonder how I can fix that.

Load previous save and try again?

I have done that a few times. I am not sure how far back I need to go though. I tried from the start of Sovngarde.
