Okay So i went mod crazy.

I went a little bit Mod mad recently with Skyrim, installing Mods from both Skyrim Nexus and Steam workshop... A lot of them?

Skyrim will now no longer run successfully It boots but then immediately kicks me back to the desktop closing any iterations of the game running.

Is there a reason why installing mods would do this?

How can I resolve the issue without deleting my saved game.

Many thanks

Usually that is caused by a missing master file. That is, a mod requires another file that is not present. It could be another mod or a DLC.

Easiest way to see if that is the case is to get a mod manager (most popular being http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/modmanager//?, http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1334//? and http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1840//?) and/or http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6//? and see if they warn about anything.

What did I tell you about starting out slowly? :hehe:

In addition to what ToJKa said, read http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1472645-help-with-a-few-issues-about-skyrim-for-pc/?p=22988038 As for a mod manager, I recommend Mod Organizer over NMM because it leaves your Data folder untouched and you can configure all other tools to run through it, but it's a matter of personal preference.
