MSGO 3.0 on a Surface Pro

So my current computer is starting to get up there in age. I think it's still got a decent amount of life in it left, but all the same I'm thinking it may be time to get a new computer.

So five months of setting aside a chunk of my paycheck later I've decided I'm going to get the new Microsoft Surface Pro 2 (probably after this holiday season when there's a price-drop, hopefully)

and my question is, would Morrowind Sound and Graphics Overhaul 3.0 run on the Surface Pro 2? or the Surface Pro?

I was never that interested in a tablet before as it seemed limited in its usefulness compared to a regular laptop, but now, after seeing the Pro, and it having a lot of what I want, (portability, Win. 8, decent battery life, power of a laptop, touch mechanics) I'm thinking this might be the way to go for me.

I'm also not that big of a gamer anymore either as I just don't have the time, money or patience to keep my PC up to date. Again, why I'm thinking the Surface Pro and not just getting a high-power laptop like last time.

that being said, I do want to still be able to play something. Far as I can tell the Surface Pro can pretty much run anything before 2007 at good settings, which is fine since most of the games I still play are old 1990s or early 2000s era RPGs anyway. One of them being Morrowind with the MGSO 3.0 mod on it.

if it can't run MSGO then it can't run it, I don't need fancy graphics, but I'm just curious, would anyone know if it does? I think it can run it, probably not at max settings, but I've heard of MSGO having problems before.

thanks

If you want to game, use Windows 7.

If you want to socialize, use Windows 8.

It's not that everyone who uses Windows 8 can't game, it's just enough of them have problem and issues that it's easier to use W7.
