Hi there.

I recently noticed that the music had stopped playing in Skyrim.

I have done the following things to try and fix it...

1) Removed all mods

2) Investigated my save games (unfortunately the music stopped in a save game a few weeks ago and I don't really want to lose so much progress!)

3) Tried console commands to RemoveMusic

4) Tried killing myself to prompt an automatic reload

...but nothing seems to work.

Is there any way to reset the music?

Or to completely clear the music stack?

This is driving me nuts... any help would be much appreciated!

All music or just combat music? No ambient music either?

Have you checked the settings to make sure music wasn't disabled by one of the mods? If you click Esc in game and go to Settings > Audio is the fifth slider, the music one, all the way up?

Try temporarily removing all your armor to see if it's an issue with your armor rating being too high to trigger the threat music from enemies.

HOLY MOLEY THE MUSIC SLIDER WAS DOWN ALL THIS TIME!!!

Not really... that was the first thing I checked. But thanks for being thorough!

Any other suggestions? I am going nuts here.
