I'm somewhat new to modding fallout 3 (I've played just fallout 3 sometime back and finished the main quest, No DLCs back then and very scant tweak mods)

Now I've got the GotY edition and I'm really keen on playing with a good baseline of popular overhaul mods keeping busy with TES games)

Also what are the type of merges and records to those two mods patch? Some alternatives maybe (ie. if a merged patch from fo3edit + wrye flash's bash patch) but I doubt the patches are just simple "record conflicts" that they merge.
