Hey everyone. Thanks for taking your time to read my topic. If a topic like this one already exists, please provide me with an address to it. Now about the tittle.. I have taken my time in reading a couple or articles regarding in-game graphical features, hardware and software and how do they affect this game. Sadly most of those articals regarding this game in particular are outdated. So I've come here yet again seeking some advice when it comes to optimizing Oblivion. Since you all probably have more experience and you have your own opinions which I want to compare to my own ( in my own way ), I would like to try and find a best possible solution for this matter since I won't be upgrading my PC anytime soon. The only recent upgrade to my pc is a new power supply due to the new graphics card. I've been playing this game for at least 6-7 years and I haven't played it for a couple of months due to some unavoidable crashing of the game. Funny thing is, I didn't really use many mods. There are plenty of mods out there, I am looking for the "right" ones as I am typing this. I'll start with the lowpoly grass mod which I have already installed. I am confused when it comes to landscape LOD texture mods, don't know which to pic and the worst of all most of them are from 2006,2007,2008.. I wouldn't be surprised if you are still using them I just need a bit of confirmation from you. There is a topic on the same page still probably where there was a discussion of Qarl's texture pack. I used QTP once a couple of years back and there wasn't an optimized version yet, but it didn't really have too much of an impact on my fps even back then, although I'd like to hear your opinion about it, I've seen people post these two particular mods that they recommended/are using instead of Qarl's: Vibrant Textures by CorePC or Bomrets Detailed Normal Maps. Correct me if I missed something. While I am not looking for better "quality" or simply different looks, what I am looking for is/are "ways" to optimize the stress of the game, if there are any that enhance the quality without harming performance they are fine too. Here are my specs:

I use Wrye Bash, OBMM, TES4Edit and BOSS for the moment, which will probably increase. I have already altered some settings in the ini file for better results. If you do have any advice when it comes to ini settings and in-game settings you're more than welcome. I am still trying to see if I can utilize bashed patch to these uses. A very useful tool. I am still trying to decide if I should use All Natural, because it doesn't look well with HDR indoors.. However I heard there are some ini setttings that can be altered to lessen the "nuclear" effect of HDR while indoor?
EDIT: Forgot to add the display in my spec list.
