I avoid Skyrim's cities because they are pathetic.

With more efficient coding, scripting, and all around optimization, Skyrim's "cities" should have been bigger than Oblivion's, not smaller. Sadly, this is not the case.

I find when I play I avoid the little hamlets as much as possible because wandering around the wilderness is so amazing, but visiting the hamlets is so disappointing.

What do you guys think?

It's too late to do anything now.

Who's to say that the nords actually lived in bigger cities than those in morrowind, maybe they prefer the humble life of a small city: notice the non-nordic cities are the biggest. (Markarth and Solitude)

(of course the cities are a let down, but just because they could've made them bigger, doesn't mean it would have been more fitting though.)

you'll find things a lot more enjoyable if you go with flow instead of tying led blocks to your feet and trying to tread upstrem
