Figuring out what files your mod uses

Post » Wed Oct 09, 2013 7:59 pm

Honestly, I'm not the most... rememberful person, and my latest creation has quite a few files to go through. I'd rely on the CK's BSA archiver to tell me what files I have, and what files to pack into a BSA, but the mod is so big at this point that the CK crashes before I can see what I've included. Is there any alternative that tells me what files my mod uses/created?

And no, sorting by date in Windows Explorer won't work. I've worked for a few months on this, and installed other mods in between there, so it'd be mixed in with files.

Doesn't TESVedit work with BSA's? What about the Wyre smash function that lets you know what the esp is modifiying?

If I understand your question correctly... You can use TESFiles to copy and package all the files associated with an esp.
Then you'd be able to know exactly what your esp uses.
