Help with activating a sound file

Hello all,

I'm working on a rather large dungeon mod that has an activator that, when "activated", will start a sound file that will give a small bit of lore or story information. If anyone is familiar with Kingdom of Amalur then you might know what I'm talking about.

I've been able to create the activator and it does indeed play the short sound files. My issue is that when I activate a sound file and click the activator again while it is playing, it will play an additional instance of the file.

The result is two recordings playing slightly out of phase.

Obviously I only want someone to click the activator and not have it activate the sound file until it's over or just start it again.

Does anyone know how this can be accomplished?
