I thought Adventurers were supposed to look tough.

What? WHAT? I hate this kid, lol. Always did. The irony is so strong. I just wanna say "Oh did you? Well I thought Redguards were supposed to look...Redguard!" I just figured out after all this time he was the Nord blacksmith and redguard shopkeeper's son. Since he and Braith definitely don't look... "Redguard". What is up with that anyway? Sure his father's a Nord, but they're supposed to look like the race of the mother. And both Braith's parents are Redguard, so.

Then there's that girl in Markarth; the Redguard jewlers' kid.

My theory is that, since they're not exactly "humans" as we are, all children are blobby blob-faced humanoids with little melanin regardless of race. At least till they hit 15. Sorta how like newborn kittens and birds are naked and ugly. C:

The only reason I got excited when I learnt kids were in Skyrim was because I thought you would be able to adopt Khajiit kittens. So much for that. That kid gets on my nerves, especially when you're wearing top level armour yielding some daedric artifact or even something like Auriel's Bow.

No the other white Redguard, the kid in Solitude who sits around his mother's store all day.

Although, I don't know if its worse than the NPC design for the Redguard advlt in the Solitude Fletcher. That may in fact be the ugliest character I've seen in TES history. As bad as Oblivion's Play-Do faces were, that Blonde Redguard with a half swoop Elven haircut probably takes the cake.

I don't get it either. Producing realistic non-whitebread children shouldn't be difficult for Bethesda, not after they did it in Fallout 3.

At least its possible to distinguish a redguard child from the others based on their skintone. I mean just try and distinguish between a Nord, Breton and Imperial child without looking at their names...

That makes sense. They're at least related as far as ancestry goes.

God, I used to hate Braith with a passion. I did not know though she was suppose to be a Redguard. Not that that's an excuse for her behavor. I also can't stand Jarl Balgruuf's kids either. The kids in Fallout 3 were not as annoying.

I cannot honestly remember a game that made me want to kill kids in a video game, would never even think of the thought, but Skyrim personally pushes me close to it. Although that's with NPCs in general in Skyrim, especially in the major cities. Most of the cool and interesting ones are hid away in the smaller hold capital towns and villages. Honestly if I was realistically roleplaying in Skyrim I would have took one walk through Whiterun, get introduced to Mr Cloud District, Braith, "I SHOULD BASH YOUR FACE IN", the scumbag bard, Belethor, and "I have a lot of steel to shed", and then ran for the Cyrodiil, Hammerfell or Morrowind border.

I'd expect a Nord Child to be alot bigger and very rugged looking compared with an Imperial and Breton child. Instead they have that typical smooth babyface as if they were all raised in Cyrodill, Redguard children included.

Looks like the next generation has been drinking quite a bit of milk.

They're just little kids. I wouldn't. Especially not rugged. A teeny tiny bit bigger maybe. A little taller.

Have you seen the Anvil gate guard? The gate near the stables. Despite my using a replacement face texture and mesh, for the male characters and NPC's in Oblivion, for some reason that gate guard was immune.

Those kids in Solitude have only just started irritating me again. I usually use a mod called No NPC Greetings, but have deactivated it for my current character.

The girl (I forget her name) who usually hangs out with the kid in that store I spoke to her and that was cute. She begins by saying, "I don't want to talk right now," and there's several choices, the topmost being something to do with a dragon. I wanted to adopt her, but I think she has parents, unfortunately, lol.

He does have conversations with his assistant like "You have to do it slow. Do it too fast and you'll warp the wood". I like to think that it's intentional blue humour from the devs.
