12 October, 2013: New updates available

We have released eight updates of existing LGNPC mods, including a significant rewriting of LGNPC Seyda Neen. The majority of changes are corrections of spelling and grammatical errors, but there are also important bug fixes. A short description of the changes is included below. Consult readme for complete details about an installment.

These updates are available from our http://www.lgnpc.org/downloads:

Aldruhn, version 1.23 supplement

Removed Tribunal dependency; dialogue editing, and added new region entries for Tauryon to discuss flora and their alchemical value.

Hla Oad, version 1.40

Complete re-editing of dialogue; cleaned NPCs of scripts added in previous installments, and established permanent date-stamp to assure proper load order.

NoLore, version 1.00

Dialogue editing, and added new responses (both noLore and Khajiit) for topics and greetings previously unaddressed.

Maar Gan, version 1.30

Complete re-editing of dialogue, and restructured how Tashpi Ashibael offers healing.

Pelagiad, version 1.32

Dialogue editing, and fixed error preventing the advancement of Ladia Flarugrius' quest.

Seyda Neen, version 2.00

Applied less generic treatment to NPCs previously unaddressed, and make significant changes to the dialogue and personalities of remaining NPCs. In particular the error relating to Darvame Hleran's gender has been corrected, and Indrele Rathryon has been restored as the focus of the official Thieves Guild/Bal Molagmer quest. Added dialogue for parents of children introduced by Children of Morrowind. Cleaned NPCs of scripts added in previous versions, and established permanent date-stamp to assure proper load order.

Vivec Foreign Quarter, version 2.21

Dialogue editing, and fixed error causing crash speaking with Rolasa Oren on topic 'Black Shalk'.

Vivec Redoran, version 1.62

Dialogue editing and quest bug fixes.

Most updates may be applied to games saved with earlier versions of our mods without issues. LGNPC Hla Oad and Seyda Neen remove changes to NPCs and may require cleaning those references from saved games. The latter also removes some journal entries that could generate errors in a game-in-progress with LGNPC Seyda Neen 0.32.

We will continue our work updating earlier releases by editing dialogue and fixing bugs until most if not are competed to our satisfaction before shifting our focus to new project towns. We can offer no timeline for our progress so there is no point in asking when such-and-such will happen. The purpose of this posting is to advise the community of the updates to our mods currently available and to assure it that we are still an active project.

Glad to see that this venerable Morrowind modding project is still going. It's a very worthy addition to the game and a noble cause you're pursuing. :)
