Author Question: DLC dragons and Deadly Dragons?

So, after a LONG time, I've got the CK open and am doing some tinkering with the Lore-friendly version of DD, something I may release as an optional side-update for those who have both Dawnguard & Dragonborn. I wanted to post this here to get some more opinions, these forums have proved to have a far more cerebral crowd than the Nexus. Anyways, here goes:

  1. Is there any legitimate reason that Serpentine Dragons only appear in Solstiem? You'll never see them on the main continent. This bugs me, I want to change it, and it's easily done.
  2. Conversely, should the rest of the normal & DLC dragons spawn on Solstiem? Or should I leave it alone to "feature" the Serpentine Dragon, something someone wouldn't always encounter if they had otherwise out-leveled the content?
  3. I'm considering "unleveling" the final tiers of dragons to include not only Legendary Dragons, but also Revered, Serpentine, and possibly Ancient Dragons as well. It gets *very* boring to always fight a Legendary Dragon in the extreme late game. I think some variety would be nice from an immersion standpoint.
  4. Thinking of making Alduin marginally more difficult. As of the current version he's basically a clone of a Legendary Dragon, but you still have the help of three other NPC's during the fight. He's still pretty with the help you have.
  5. Has ANYONE figured out how to add additional health/armor to Odahviing? He's a generic leveled actor, and I can get him to use custom attacks, but any attempts to make him anything but a glass cannon are for naught, he always spawns with about 1,600 health, give or take. Setting him to use different actors as a base gives him the proper spells/abilities, but his health is still crappy.
  6. I'm considering using some/most of Wrig675's http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20889/? textures and getting rid of some of the more awful one's that we've been using forever. It would just be a lot more work than the other changes.

A long time ago, for the 6.3.5 release (what everyone is currently using) of DD I reduced the stupid leveling curve required to encounter.. Now it looks like the following:

If I were to add Serpentine's to this list, I would just add them in with Revered's at level 54, as they're basically identical in stats outside of Drain Vitality. Just looking for some input.
