I want to create a spell to buff my allies for the retaking of Kvatch.

I'm thinking about fortify strength - on touch - area effect – duration 60 sec.

I plan to apply it on one of the soldiers before the fight starts, when they are still grouped together, so that it also includes the other soldiers nearby automatically via the area-effect.

Would that work?

And what value should I set for "area"?
