I'm a defensive character, only attacking by using bow & arrow and runes. Nonetheless, I already killed Lydia by mistake. For my future followers, is there any way around them getting blown up by my own runes? If I kill a new follower every couple of dungeons I'm going to get pretty angry...

You can get the passive that makes your followers not be harmed by your attacks. It's a permanent blessing, but I don't remember how to get it. Hopefully this will trigger someone's memory and know it
