Smarter Wildlife (Agree) ?

I always modded for more realistic animal behaviours.

If realistic = smarter, than yes I want smarter wildlife.

This is why not fast traveling was a pain for me in Oblivion. I don't want to have to get off my horse every 2 seconds to kill a wolf who has laser x-ray vision and will never stop chasing.

I was also amused at how some deer would just stand next to me unafraid.

Passive/non-suicidal animal life would be nice.

I can't think of any reason why someone wouldn't want better AI.

Yeah most of the polls are pretty pointless. 'Do you want better X in Skyrim?' [yes] [no] [cookies!]

'Should Skyrim be a better game than Oblivion?'

yes it was irritating to have everything in the game that was hostile chase you endlessly.

Yes it would be nice to see more realistic animal behavior in the next tes game.

Yes I would like fewer inane polls in these forums.

yes it would be nice if we could speculate on what is actually in the game rather than telling the devs that we want them to put stuff into a game that is virtually finished.

yes I'm done!

(for now).

Yes, implement bear wizards

irl LOL'd.

It feels as if the animals are trying to suicide using death by adventurer. They need to have a certain range they protect, and then not chase any farther than that unless you're actually attacking them (with ranged weapons)

Some mods make Oblivion's animal AI scripts much better. Animals may not attack and may run away if they are losing.

I really like the Bighorners in Fallout: New Vegas. They show up on the compass as hostile, but they only growl at you as you approach, and only attack if you get very close. I don't wander among wild animals in real life, but this seems beautifully realistic to me and would by a nice thing to see in Skyrim.

-Only attacking the player when he gets too close
-Fleeing when they realize they′re getting the beating of their lives (this would happen randomly)
-Deer and other possible "neutral" creatures should keep their behaviour from OB.

Yes I'm tired of every animal I see chasing me and trying to kill me. Some animals, like cougars, should be aggressive, but most shouldn't just blindly try to kill you. Animals like bears are more defensive than anything else, so I could understand being attacked if you go near them, but they shouldn't all be hellbent on hunting down the character.

The number of rogue lone wolves that will attack anything on sight was alarmingly high in Cyrodil. I would like to see packs of wolves that hunt you and attack you as a pack in Skyrim, though I would like to see the odd lone wolf driven to attack you on it's own by hunger.

Yes of course, as said previously RDR had an awesome wildlife and if it's as good it would truly be amazing.

I think it would help if these hostile creatures come with more visibility. I'm not saying the game should provide some lame looking arrows to point out where they're. Just make the creatures move more aggressively or make more sounds, and extra reflective lights and shadows could help out there too. Even some temporary glows to help the players to easily spot them.

After you kill certain numbers of animals and attain higher level, they should run and hide instead of fighting you. For instance, a lv5 player with a kill score of 100 would make half of the weak enemies (rats, mudcrabs, etc) to run instead of triggering "Hostile Nearby" music. As his level and kill score goes up, even relatively stronger enemies (wolves and such, eventually even bears or bigger) to run. At higher level and kill score, stronger enemies would run away more often.
Bosses should never have this kind of behavior, but I thought it was kinda bothersome that some of the weak enemies that simply won't worth my time do pick a fight with me and waste my time.

I voted yes but not because this ever happened to me (it never has). I voted yes because it's silly for every random carnivore to charge at you in suicide. Monsters sure, but every random wolf/bear/cougar charging you is just silly.

its prventing you from traveling

I have never fast traveled so this is not an issue for me. In fact I didn't even know it prevented fast traveling until this very minute (you learn something new everyday).

Ditto.
