Legendary difficulty

Post » Sat Oct 19, 2013 2:51 am

Hey! I need an advice :) I want to play Skyrim on legendary difficulty as thief-assasin and have some qustions :)

1) What weapon is better? A bow or two daggers?

2) Should I get smithing/enchanting/alchemy at 100 as soon as possible? I just heard it's impossible to play on this difficulty without it.

3) What about armor? I prefer to wear shrouded armor (Dark brotherhood). Is it good? Or light/heave enchated armor is better?

Thanks :)

Ive only tried legendary a couple times but I will tell you that sneak is your best friend. Anytime you can on-hit kill an enemy with a bow is always a plus.

Legendary on a fresh new game? That's gonna be quite the grind best of luck to you and i would advice using a bow and level-up sneak ASAP as armor doesnt really count much anything will most likely kill you in 1-4 hits regardless of what you wear.

As for your weapons, use both, a bow is useful when sneaking, but if you engage in close combat you'll want a melee weapon.

1. whatever suits your style of playing. Bow if you like to snipe from afar, daggers if you like to hug people from behind.

2. That's ridiculous, you don't need a single one of them.

3. Again, whatever floats your boat. If you like enchantments on shrouded armor then, by all means, use it.

I would like to note that you won't be able to one hit kill people for quite some time, and mudcrab and wolf hunting will probably last a couple of more levels than it probably does on lower level difficulties.

From the beginning at level 1, I spammed alchemy with blisterwort and wheat for a long long long long time. You needed the potions. Only time I ever invested in alchemy. Now, I only switch to legendary around level 30-40, so alchemys not needed.

I've never used alchemy and still had success on legendary. I would recommend at least 1 crafting skill depending on your build...I'm currently trying a cloth mage on legendary with enchanting as his only tradeskill and it hasn't been too bad so far
